Phyllostachys Aurea - 'Fishpole or Golden Bamboo' is a clump forming stiffly upright bamboo with grooved canes, bright mid- green at first, becoming brown-yellow when mature. There are cup shaped swellings beneath each node and the lower nodes are asymmetrical, distorted and often densely crowded.
