Container grown is when the plants are grown in pots. These plants cost a little bit more than rootballed plants, but they are easier to establish. They do still need to be watered when first planted and then regularly afterwards; rain water isn't always enough. Make sure plants are planted firmly in the ground and watered.
Cupressocyparis - leylandii - are evergreen, quick growing conifers, they form a very dense hedge in little time and look good all year round. Respond well to being trimmed as long as trimming is confined to the young growth, as regrowth is unlikely if the plant is cut back into the old wood.
